To celebrate the capsule collection “Mestieri d’Arte Bokashi SS26”, designed by Bethan Laura Wood for the Milanese leather goods maison Serapian, the designer conceived an immersive scenography for the brand’s Milan boutique.

The space is transformed into a vibrant, otherworldly rocky landscape: an immersive environment built through an exuberant interplay of colour, form, and texture. An artificial and sensory landscape that comes to life with the support of Poltronova.

Within this scenario, Terrazzo Quarry is introduced: a system of soft, monumental seating conceived as an inhabitable artificial landscape. The upholstered elements, arranged either compactly or dispersed throughout the space, evoke rocks emerging from an imaginary ground, where material and decoration merge.

The “Terrazzo” pattern, developed by Bethan Laura Wood in 2022 following a residency in Venice, originates from the observation of terrazzo flooring and translates into an exclusive textile, in which gem-like fragments surface across the fabric.

Here, surface becomes volume and pattern turns into landscape, between illusion and structure, inviting interaction: a “super fake” terrazzo, in dialogue with Poltronova’s experimental vision.

A new project entering the Poltronova collection, marking the opening to new collaborations. A set of Terrazzo Quarry will remain on display in the Serapian boutique until May 10.
