The work of Italian designer Andrea Mancuso strikes a fine balance between the fantastical and the everyday. Originally from Rome, Mancuso spent his early career in London, a creatively formative period that steered his practice towards the experimental and imaginary. In 2011, he founded Analogia Project, developing a rigorously research-based approach deeply rooted in storytelling, material exploration, and historical narratives. Since 2015, he has been represented by Nilufar Gallery, where he has presented collections such as Pentimenti and Acquario. He has lent his unique perspective to brands and institutions including Hermès, Fendi, Perrier-Jouët, Bulgari and Lema, creating furniture, installations and exhibitions that evoke narratives across cultures and time. His work has been widely published and exhibited internationally, earning recognition such as AD100 (Architectural Digest Italy) and the Elle Decor International Design Award. Since 2017, he has taught the Master of Interior Design course at NABA in Milan.
